This drawing is inspired by the patterns of the water; the ripples and movements, the sun shining through. I have tried to recreate and channel the hypnotic feeling I get when standing or swimming in the river, immersed and embraced by pattern. The drawing is made using a home-made lamp black egg-tempera and water collected from the river.
